These are planet textures for Nar shaddaa in TSL. This is in exe format which means it automatically extract textures to override folder. You only need to point it toward the override location. This is another map I had a fun time making - similar to Kashyyyk: Treetops, Nar Shaddaa: Docks was more an experiment in building a structurally believable environment than anything else. Again, like the Kashyyyk map, the problem is one of perspective - I don't have infinite resources available, but my goal is to create a planet-sized city, and since I'm so high up, I can't rely on my skydome. Recap
After a couple of days of recovery and debriefing regardingthe mission to Almas you made plans to follow your own paths for a bit.Gills agreed to work as a technician andmechanic for the Resistance in exchange for repair time and facilities to getthe Aether Ray up and runningagain.Denia offered to train Kunda Rafurther with the assistance of the newly acquired Qornah holocron.Janner, Mir, Mal, and Tyros made preparationsto travel to Nar Shaddaa and acquire gear and supplies for the Resistance.
The crew prepped for the mission to Nar Shaddaa and met inthe hanger of The Resurgence. Mal flew Locust I while Mir and Tyros piloted a borrowed Ghtroc freighter. The astrogation data provided by Switch wasaccurate, allowing you to make the trip in relative ease. The jump took justover nine hours to complete and both ships emerged in system and range of NarShaddaa without dilemma.
Once on Nar Shaddaa, Janner and Mir worked toward finding afixer while Mal and Tyros began the hunt for Saress and The Iron Ring slavers.Mir was able to locate an old crew mate heworked with just after the end of the war.Blackout (Talz species) earned the name due to his large frame and bulkand worked as a mechanic when he flew with Mir.He agreed to meet you at the Corellian sector starport, which youeventually learned was where he worked as a repair team lead.Using Blackout’s local knowledge to locate areputable fixer, Janner and Mir met with Cog and haggled for the supplies.
Meanwhile, Mal and Tyros set out to find an old enemy.Tyros had come across Saress and The IronRing while working for the Hutts, and was able to point Mal in the rightdirection in tracking down his prey. After spending some time with a few locals near the Corellian sectorstarport they learned that most Trandoshans preferred to spend their time atthe Slag Pit.The local snitch providedcoordinates which allowed Mal and Tyros to locate The Slag Pit and the locationof Saress’ favored dock.
Janner was able to haggle a good deal on the goods from Cogand arranged for delivery of most common items the following day. With the gear safely stored on the Ghtroc,Janner and Mir left Nar Shaddaa and delivered the gear to the Resurgence while Mal and Tyros scoutedthe slavers.
Back on the Resurgence,Gills and Mir finalized repairs on the AetherRay while Janner briefed Denia and Admiral Varth. After hearing the details of the slavers andtheir activity, Denia encouraged Kunda Ra to help with liberating the slavesand possibly learn more of their involvement with the Sarlacc Project.Janner, Gills, Mir, and Kunda Ra then headedto Nar Shaddaa to help Mal and Tyros defeat the Trandoshans and liberate theMon Calamari slaves.
Using the Ghtroc freighter for the return trip combined withrepair times on the Aether Ray left Mal and Tyros alone on Nar Shaddaa foralmost 48 hours.During that time theyspied on the slavers and noted numbers and movement patterns in preparation foran ambush.
When the entire crew assembled on Nar Shaddaa you plannedhow to best free the Mon Calamari slaves. You decided to hire local gangers to ambush both Trandoshan landspeeders a couple of kilometers from the docks while Tyros and Gills would stealaboard the Long Claw slave transportand disable the ship. The ambush wouldserve as a distraction and would signal the attack led by Kunda Ra, Janner, andMal in your recently acquired speeder.
Janner spent a few hours tracking down and hiring a suitableband of thugs to attack the slavers, settling on a 2,500 credit payment fortheir part in the attack. At the sametime, Mir scouted and found his sniper’s roost for the coming ambush as Mal andKunda Ra spied on the slavers and planned for the mission to liberate theslaves.Gills and Tyros stealthily creptaboard the Long Claw when theTrandoshans were working to load their speeders. The pair skillfully stole aboard and madetheir way to engineering with Gills disabling security along the way.Once in engineering Gills quickly disabledmain power which would prevent the transport from taking off.
Like clockwork the slavers piled into both land speeders afterstowing cargo. As they reached theambush point the gangers made their move and opened fire from theirswoops.Hidden from a suitable rooftop, Mirmade short work of a few with his sniper rifle. The sudden attack spooked the Trandoshans into making a run for it,effectively taking them out of the coming battle to free the slaves.
When the Hound’s Toothlaunched from the Long Claw tosupport the speeders under attack, Kunda Ra piloted your Arrow speeder intoattack position. From his passengerseat, Mal fired on and dispatched the lone Trandoshan sentry patrolling on topof the Long Claw.Guiding the Arrow into the cargo bay of theLong Claw, Kunda Ra put Mal and Janner into great position to offer cover fireagainst any resistance.Mir then joinedyou in the cargo bay after escaping the ambush site via the use of his Zephyrswoop bike. The cavernous cargo bay waspiled with cargo pods and containers of various sorts but as you headed towardthe aft section you discovered dozens of Mon Calamari slaves.
As you worked to free slaves you were alerted by Gills thatboth turbolifts had just activated and were moving from the fourth level to thefirst (the cargo bay).Mal, Janner, andKunda Ra took positions to defend themselves from what would emerge from thelifts. When the lift doors opened youfired upon five slavers, one of which was their leader Saress.During the chaos of the exchange in blasterfire Janner was nearly mauled by a dravian hound that had hidden somewhereamong the cargo or structure of the ship’s cargo bay.Repelling Saress and his guards you madeshort work of the reptilian predator, preventing it from feasting on Janner.
As Saress retreated Gills was able to take control of the Long Claw’s computer systems. He was able to locate the Trandoshans andcoordinate your next move in securing the slaves and ships. You had a few minutes to free the remainingMon Calamari slaves before Mal headed to the upper levels of the ship by usingone of several multi-level ladders.
Leading a coordinated assault Mal stormed the command bridgeof the Long Claw and caught theslavers off guard yet again.Gillsstymied their attempts to repel your assault and as they planned their nextmove you attacked.Mal and Tryos werefirst to charge the bridge followed by the Jedi. The three stood their ground as Saressordered his remaining crew to move in and kill the intruders. From the exterior access port of the bridgeBossk launched stun grenades into the fray which prompted Tyros to return thefavor.Tyros managed to place a fraggrenade in the midst of several slavers crowded near the external accessdoor.
Somewhere during the search for Saress, Mir vanished withoutnotice, so it was a surprise to you as well as the Trandoshans when the Aether Ray made an unexpected strafingrun on the Hound’s Tooth. From the command bridge you watched as Mirexpertly disabled the star cruiser with the ion cannons of the Ray, scattering Bossk and the remainingslavers that had been focusing on blasting Mal, Tyros, Kunda Ra, and Janner.
The frenetic battle enraged the Trandoshans who lived up totheir ferocious reputation.A handfuldrew their wicked swords of war and moved close to Mal, Tyros, and KundaRa.The Jedi bore the brunt of theirpowerful strikes, but turned the tide and brought the battle to a swiftresolution by calling on the Force.Witha motion he summoned the will to Force slam the slavers and sent them careeningthrough the open access door and out onto the open area atop the Long Claw.Clawing for purchase several slavers fell totheir doom and into the depths of Nar Shaddaa’s lower levels.
As you exited the transport and moved to the exterior, aTrandoshan starfighter launched from the starboard side of the Long Claw with the bounty hunter piloting.Bossk had decided to make an escape and leaveSaress to his fate.
With his crew defeated Saress demanded to know what youwanted and challenged you to personal combat. With the crashing thunder and driving rain you almost missed the crackof Tyros’ rifle as it obliterated his knee.Driven to his knees, Saress looked on you all with cold and vengefulprecision.
Mal walked closer and closer to Saress, pulling his vibro-ax.Images of his family being murdered flashedbefore his eyes as he closed the distance to the wounded Trandoshan. Then theimage of Saress shooting him and leaving him for dead entered his mind. 'You should have made sure I was deadbefore you left Saress.' Mal saidas he drew the axe back. 'I won'tbe making that mistake.' Then, in the blink of an eye, the axe sank deepinto Saress' head. Blood sprayed out in a fine mist during impact and thenagain when Mal wrenched the axe from Saress' head. Saress fell completely over on his side andslid off the rain soaked transport. Malstood there in the rain, blood dripping from his axe, his head hanging low. He walked over to the Hound's Tooth and put his hand on it. He was finally touching the last heirloom ofhis family. Who knew what horrors it hadtaken part in. He had taken hisvengeance, but at what price? He thoughtit would make him feel better, but he now realized that it did not.
Mal turned to Janner, 'Just give me a fewminutes.' And with the rain and lightning crashing down, Mal walked aboardthe Hound's Tooth, which would now becalled the Hammer of Dawn once again.
